Arise, Shine

"Command and teach these things. Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you." -- 1Timothy 4:11-14

God is on the move. Are you with Him? Do you easily get caught up in the materialism that this world embodies?
God is on a mission. Are you a part of it? Is iit too much to ask you to shed the confines of your self-perceived image?
God is on the rise. Where are you? Are you soaring with him or you floating in the abyss that your life has become?
God wants change. Did you know that? Or were your complacent with the constant factors in your life?
God wants you to make Him a priority in your life, and not an option. Are you willing to do what it takes? Or will you let that inner fire fade into embers?
God sees a vision for His people. Did you want to help His vision come to fruition? Or were you willing to let someone else carry the yoke?
God wants you to trust you burdens to Him. Do you trust Him with your heart and soul? Or do you pretend that He has your undying trust and devotion?
God will not be ignored. Do you understand that? Or are you going to need ramifications to convince you?
God is going to use you. Do you believe that? Or do you underestimate yourself and His power?

Youth everywhere, hear the call of God. Take up the challenge. He is going to use you for His glory and power. Cast away your doubts and fears. Do not neglect your gift. Believe that this is his will for you. For He says that, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." You are no longer a child. Don't look to your elders to fulfill God's vision. You are now appointed the task of preaching and teaching the word. You are the generation that must seek His face. The chosen ones that must go forth to all ends of the earth and speak as commanded. The burden is heavy, but the yoke is light. He will take care of His own. Fear not, for He is with you.

Do as he has prophesied and commanded of you. Awake, Joshua generation! Shine, for "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few."
Grace be with you.
