Youth Ministry

Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." 1Timothy 4:12

India Pentecostal Assembly Youth Ministry was started in 1988. Over the years, God Almighty was gracious enough to bless this ministry. The IPA Youth Ministry conducts many meetings and programs for the upbringing of our youth. The Youth of IPA are an integral part of the church. Every effort is made to make sure that the young people of are brought up iwith the fear of God and the knowledge of His Word. All activities of the church are geared to the spiritual enrichment of the young people. Through various activities, IPA trains its young people to become the leaders of tommorrow.

Youth Pastor and Directors

Rev. Finney Samuel is currently serving as the Youth Pastor of IPA. Brother Cecil Mathew currently serves as Youth Director. Brother Stanley George, Sisters Debbie Thomas and Amy Abraham currently serve as Associate Youth Directors.

Saturday Night Prayer Meetings
Saturday Night English Prayer meetings are held in the Church sanctuary on three Saturdays of every month. During these meetings, the IPA choir leads Praise and Worship. Young Teens and Teenagers are encouraged to share a few minutes from the Word of God. There is also time for testimonies, exhortations and praise reports. Finally, the Youth Pastor or a designated person shares from God's Word.

IPA Sports

"Have nothing to do with godless and silly myths. Train yourself in godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come." 1 Timothy 4:7-8

India Pentecostal Assembly youth are good at various sports. Teams in IPA include: GENESIS Mens' Basketball, GENESIS III Mens' Basketball, Genesis Girls Basketball, Genesis Girls's Volleyball, GENESIS SOCCER.

Talent Competitions

In- House Talent Competitions are held in the months of May - July every year. The winners represent the church in the citywide PYFA Talent Competitions. Various competitions like: Essay writing, Memory verses, Bible Quiz, Solo, Instrumental Music etc are conducted.

Pentecostal Youth Fellowship of America (PYFA)

IPA Youth Ministry actively participates in all the programs conducted by PYFA. IPA Youth takes part in Praise and Worship sessions in PYFA meetings, gives short exhortations from the Word of God, participates in the PYFA Talent Competitions and the PYFA Sports Tournaments. IPA Youth have also provided leadership in PYFA by serving as Presidents, Secretaries and Youth Coordinators over the past many years.
